A breakthrough in the management of resistant infections, published in Nature Communications! For the first time in French-speaking Switzerland, a patient suffering from a multi-resistant respiratory infection has been saved thanks to the use of phages (bacterial viruses) at the HUG. Thanks to a multidisciplinary approach, HUG & UNIGE have been able to develop this highly personalized biological therapy.
