Swiss start-up, Allimb offers an augmented reality application which, thanks to a form of artificial intelligence, detects the movements of patients during physical rehabilitation exercises and accompanies them by voice and visual guidance.
Artificial intelligence to revolutionize home exercise
This application, accessible on all media (mobiles, tablets, computers, connected TVs), allows patients to receive a personalized follow-up and a precise exercise program and caregivers to obtain a real-time follow-up of their patients’ exercises and progress while respecting medical confidentiality.
Physicians are able to follow their patients objectively, thanks to Allimb’s virtual tools. Based on the physician’s data and diagnosis, Allimb generates and suggests an exercise program for the patient. Patients receive a personalized program from their physician.
Driven by their own clinical needs, physicians and technology experts came together to create Allimb, their goal: to support healthcare professionals and their patients, enabling them to reach large numbers of people remotely, in a simple, safe and intuitive way. This software is particularly useful in the prevention and healing of musculoskeletal pain.
Accelere’Health, a new perspective on collaboration
The young start-up, Allimb, has just returned from its expedition in the Besançon ecosystem during its participation in the cross-border program Accelere’Health. This program was the ideal opportunity for the start-up to discover the richness of the Besançon area, the market opportunities, the possible partnerships and above all to find a new way to rise.
Lawrence Spavieri, co-founder of the Allimb technology, gives us his feedback. He talks about the fruitful encounters he had on site. In addition to the researchers from the region’s hospitals, service professionals and physiotherapists working in renowned clinics that he met, the project leader was also able to get in touch with the founder of Sporthopeo, a young start-up from Besançon, with whom a future collaboration is taking shape.
Lawrence Spavieri also had the opportunity to exchange with the other startups that made the trip to Besançon. His exchanges were very enriching and could lead to future collaborations.
In conclusion, the co-founder of the young Swiss nugget believes that this program is very interesting for all entrepreneurs who plan to work in connection with France.
